Two Saracens Amateurs Mens players have been selected for the GB maccabi team to play at the Maccabi games in Israel in July. Both players have been at Sarries since Minis.

Zak Nutley and Nick Lewis have been training hard with the GB squad every Sunday and personally during the week. The important part of being in the squad took place last week when they picked up their stash.

They have just got a new Head Coach Elvis Sevealli an ex Samoan international and premier league player.

 Thought for the Day:
"The bottom line is, why does anybody play rugby? What makes a junior club XV player drag himself down to training on a dark, wet night in December after a long day at the office? What makes him put up with the knocks and injuries?

It's because playing rugby with your mates is just a great game; it's the beers and a bit of fun on a Saturday with your friends after achieving something good together on the pitch. That's absolutely no different in the world of professional rugby"

Brendan Venter, Director of Rugby, Saracens September 2009
