It is with great sadness that the club has learned of the death of Patrick Ahern.

It is with great sadness that the club has learned of the death of Patrick Ahern. He passed away on New Year's Day at the age of 86. Most people will remember Pat for his boundless enthusiasm around the club, a club he served with distinction as both a player for many years and then as a supporter and officer of the club. As a player, Pat captained various teams during his playing career, and then went on to hold many offices within the club, culminating with his appointment as Club Chairman from 1984 - 1987. Pat was a true Saracen and will be sadly missed.
The funeral will be held at West Herts Crematorium, High Elms Lane, Garston, Watford, WD25 0JS on Friday 13th @ 4.00pm, followed by a get together in The Royal Oak in Abbots Langley.
Our thoughts and Prayers go out to his family and friends at this sad time.
