A sloping pitch at UCS made this a game of two contrasting half's.

A sloping pitch at UCS made a game of two contrasting half's. Playing downhill in the first half Crusaders took a 29 - 5 halftime lead.
Lewis Blair opened the scoring with a break from the half way mark, tries followed from Ashley Curtin, Lewis Blair scored a second before Tom Job scored just before half time.
Lewis Blair put in a man of the match display, not only for the tries but also for his lineout steals with Frank Howell and Ronnie Plumb lifting their timing was superb helping Lewis make the picks. The key moment in the second half came from Kelvin Baronet who made a break from inside Crusaders half to score the winning try.
