Started playing rugby on the Isle of Arran after helping to set up the girls side. Have played for Scotland since the age of 19. Edinburgh university blue. Like to cycle everywhere, guaranteed to always be late and very good at baking cakes!
What Scottishrugby say: Lindsay Constance Wheeler played in the 2005 Canada Cup and the 2006 World Cup and has been in the Scotland team for the 6 Nations Championship since 2006. Part of Scotland's 2010 RWC squad, she scored a try against Canada in the opening game and a second in the 2011 6 Nations game against Wales at Burnbrae.
She also played in 2008 European Cup and the 2009 European Trophy and was on the Nomads’ South African tour in 2008 as well as the national sevens squad.
A former pupil of Corrie Primary School and Arran High School, she is a recent graduate in physiotherapy from Northumbria University and works at Homerton University Hospital in Hackney, north London as a physiotherapist.
