Teamwork Works at Wanstead

Teamwork shines through as young Sarries squad impress in every game.

Three Sarries Under 8s teams made the journey out to Wanstead RFC, Essex for a triangular tournament with the hosts and Woodford RFC.

Players produced a fine display of tag rugby and it was great to see all their hard work at Bramley Road pay off.

Training sessions have focussed on teamwork, holding the line and good support running, all typically tricky areas which the boys are really beginning to master.

It made all the difference as all three teams impressed on the pitch.

Mild but windy conditions increased the importance of good passing technique and the players rose to the challenge, concentrated in the games and really looked like they were enjoying themselves as a result.

Our thanks to the friendly hosts, and all those involved, for an enjoyable and well-run event. We look forward to returning.
