Saracens As v Harpenden / Saracens Bs v Chesham

Good day at the office....

Great games yesterday for both As and Bs.

The Bs match against Chesham Stags was a real nail biter and whilst they were pipped at the post I don't think anyone was disappointed with the boys performance against a division 2 Bucks team.

The As had their first div 1 friendly against Harpenden and won that convincingly. It's worth bearing in mind that Harpenden have just been promoted and are finding their feet so we have to assume our next div 1 friendly against current champions Bishops Stortford in November will be a slightly tougher affair but first priority will be the league match against Ampthill on 6 Nov.

Enormous thanks to both Chesham and Harpenden who embodied everything that is best in the rugby community. It was a pleasure to have you visit Bramley Road and we look forward to seeing you again.
