This picture shows our Tourists to Cork last month, where we had 2 very tough games, and some great bonding opportunities over pints of Guinness and prosecco

Under 17 Tour - Los Angeles 2018

Welcome to the U17 2018 Tour

This page has been set up specifically to promote our many and varied fundraising events over the coming months. We are kicking off with a Raffle to run alongside our floodlit matches this coming Friday evening against Barnet and Windsor, so if you're planning to come along and watch, please keep an eye out for ticket sellers. We will have some rather quaffable alcoholic beverages in the raffle, and maybe a few other surprises. Last season, at our floodlit match, we beat a Hertfordshire County side, so are looking to extend our Friday evening winning streak on 3rd November

We are also running the Christmas Fair this year on 10th December (10.00am - 1.00pm), so please do come along and join in the festive fun. They'll be lots of stalls, tombolas and fun and games.

And now a little bit about our squad......

The Saracens Under 17s age group is lucky enough to still have around 40-50 boys wanting to play – a number of whom have been with Sarries since Under 7s. Our A Team is in Division 1 of the League, and our B team in Division 2 (unbeaten for 3 seasons, and climbing up the ladder to join the As in Division 1!) The pinnacle of their rugby career at Saracens is a 10 day Tour to Los Angeles in 2018, to play 4 games against local opposition. Saracens has always been an inclusive club, so we are aiming to raise enough money to subsidise those families who may have trouble raising the full amount, and also to provide the whole team with branded, coordinated travelling clothes, rucksacks, kitbags and playing kit. We aim to ensure they look and behave in a professional manner whilst representing their club abroad, and of course, they will continue to use this kit with pride after the Tour.
Some of our boys stepped into the breach last year and waited (very successfully) at table for the Summer Ball. We will be holding a number of further fundraising opportunities this season, including the Christmas Fair on 10th December, and next Summer’s Ball, plus a number of raffles and scratch card opportunities in between. Please do support our boys and help us reach our goal – they are a great bunch, and we would love to send them off on the Tour of a lifetime before they all go their separate ways to whatever life holds for them.

Thank You
